Stockport County defender James Tunnicliffe has signed his first professional contract with the League Two club.
The talented 17-year-old has agreed a two-year contract with the Edgeley Park outfit, having had trials with both Liverpool and Southampton last season.
Tunnicliffe was pleased to commit his future to The Hatters.
"I've been waiting for a long time, but we've had quite a bit to sort out and now I'm just happy that I've signed," Tunnicliffe told the club's official website.
"I've signed for two years which I'm really pleased about because it gives me a lot more security than a one-year deal.
"If I can keep doing what I can do and get a place in the team, then hopefully I can extend that."
