Bury manager Graham Barrow has signed former Everton striker Stuart Barlow. The 36-year-old arrives at Gigg Lane following his release from League Two rivals Stockport County back in May.
The former Oldham Athletic, Wigan Athletic and Tranmere Rovers hit-man has signed a one-year deal with The Shakers.
Barlow's arrival should fill the void left by the departure of Colin Kazim-Richards, who joined Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion last week.
The news follows Bury's decision to hand six-month deals to centre back Colin Woodthorpe and Barrow's son, James.
Midfielder Barrow, 18, has successfully come through the youth ranks at Gigg Lane to earn a short-term professional deal, while Woodthorpe's future remained in the balance until he penned his six-month deal.
