Bradshaw out for season

Shrewsbury's survival hopes have been dealt a blow after striker Tom Bradshaw was ruled out for eight to 10 weeks with a knee injury.

The Wales Under-21 international, who has netted five goals this term, picked up the problem in training last week and a scan has shown he faces a race against time to be fit before the end of the season. "It's going to be eight to 10 weeks so it's disappointing. He's going to do well to get back to where we need him to be. It's disappointing for Tom and for us," Shrews manager Mike Jackson told the club's official website. Shrewsbury sit 22nd in Sky Bet League One, three points adrift of safety.
