Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner was "bitterly disappointed" after a late equaliser earned Hartlepool a 2-2 draw at home.
In the 90th minute Andy Monkhouse volleyed in from 12 yards to earn a Pools point.
Hartlepool trailed to a Marvin Morgan brace after taking the lead through Jon Franks.
Turner said: "We've dropped points from conceding late goals and it's a collective thing.
"We could have made it 3-1, with some very good chances and at the end we could have won it. But we can't concede like we are doing.
"It's bitterly disappointing and we work hard. It's that collective thing to make sure we don't concede."
