Crewe assistant manager Neil Baker has urged Ashley Westwood and Shaun Miller to curb their rash tendencies on the pitch.
Alex were leading November's FA Cup first-round clash with Colchester when defender Westwood received a straight red card for a two-footed lunge on Ben Coker. Steve Davis' first game at the helm that day ended in a 4-1 defeat, while the Railwaymen's recent impressive npower League Two form was threatened when Miller's late challenge on Sergio Torres left them to battle for 75 minutes with 10 men in the 1-1 draw with Crawley. "They're certainly not one-offs with Shaun or Westy," said Baker. "They've both been sent off in the past so I don't think it is anything to do with the new regime or any changes that have happened. Shaun has shown in the past that he can react like that. "So I know it's not anything that's been said by ourselves to them - that's in their make-up I'm afraid."
