Teenage striker happy to pledge future to League Two club

Shrewsbury Town striker Tom Bradshaw has signed a new contract to be tied to the League Two club until 2013. The teenager has made five appearances for the Shrews so far this season and has been in talks over an extension in recent weeks. Bradshaw is happy to have agreed his fresh deal and is now determined to repay the faith of Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner. "It's very good news for me and I've been hoping to be able to sign it for a couple of weeks now so it's great to finally get it all sorted," the 19-year-old told the club's official website. "Now that it's done I just can't wait to get my chance to get back out on the pitch and keep doing what I've got this contract for. "I'm happy to be with Shrewsbury Town as the club has a big place in my heart and it's great to be staying until at least 2013. "It is a massive confidence booster that the gaffer, chairman and club wanted me to sign a new contract at that shows that they have the belief in me."
