Rotherham, Gillingham and Southend put their perfect League Two starts on the line with away trips on Tuesday.

Leading trio all play away aiming to maintain perfect league starts

Rotherham, Gillingham and Southend put their perfect League Two starts on the line with away trips on Tuesday night, while strugglers Hereford and Macclesfield clash. Early pace-setters Rotherham will be aiming to make it three league wins on the bounce when they travel to struggling Crewe, who have lost all three games so far this term. Gillingham also put their 100 per cent league start on the line at Barnet, who will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's 3-1 home reverse to Port Vale. Fellow bright starters Southend travel to new boys Crawley Town, who are on a high after notching their landmark first league win against Macclesfield last time. Fellow newcomers AFC Wimbledon also recorded a historic first league victory at the weekend and next face a Plymouth outfit looking to bounce back from their 4-1 home hammering by Rotherham. Port Vale will be aiming to build on their Barnet victory with another win on the road, this time against Burton, who drew with Shrewsbury last time.

One over

Torquay got one over former boss Paul Buckle's Bristol Rovers at the weekend and next take on Aldershot, who slumped to a 1-0 home defeat to Northampton. The in-form Cobblers follow up that victory with a trip to the Pirates, who will be looking to put a smile back on boss Buckle's face again. Oxford and Shrewsbury clash at the Kassam Stadium aiming to notch their first league wins of the campaign, while Bradford search for a first victory this term at Accrington Stanley. Dagenham & Redbridge and Swindon will be hoping to put defeats at the weekend behind them when they clash, while in-form Cheltenham and Northampton go head-to-head after both winning last time. Down at the bottom, strugglers Hereford and Macclesfield clash at Edgar Street aiming to notch their first points of the campaign.
