Ferguson fears for winger

Preston fear winger Paul Parry may miss the rest of the season through injury. The summer signing from Cardiff has been sidelined since December with tendinitis and has learned he requires a longer period of rehabilitation. Preston boss Darren Ferguson is waiting to find out if Parry requires an operation, but is resigned to being without the player for the remainder of the campaign. "He's not so good, he's gone back a little bit," said Ferguson "With Paul, I don't know if he will be fit again this season. "We are hopeful it doesn't need an op, we don't want to go down that road. "He's seen the specialist last week and his opinion is he needs more rest and longer rehab for it to get right."
