Dundee United boss hoping to bring loanee back

Dundee United Craig Levein is keen to bring James Wesolowski back to Tannadice next season. The Australian recently concluded a successful loan spell from Leicester City after a torn hamstring curtailed his stint. Levein was impressed by Wesolowski prior to his injury and is eager to speak to the Foxes in a bid to strike a deal for his services. The SPL outfit have an option with Leicester for the 21-year-old and Levein now intends on getting in touch with them to establish the player's availability.

Good job

"Considering James wasn't fit and had been out for so long with injury, I think he did a really good job for us," he told the Leicester Mercury. "His fitness gradually got better and he was having more influence on games. "Hopefully, we will see him back again next season if we can do a deal with Leicester. "We have an option on him, so I will speak to his club and see what happens from there."
