Peterborough United boss Keith Alexander has signed former Lincoln City striker Simon Yeo.
The 32-year-old joins his former manager in making the switch to London Road after turning down a new two-year contract with The Imps.
The deal he was offered meant Yeo would have had to take a pay-cut at Sincil Bank, something which the striker was unprepared to do.
Following a successful trial spell with The Posh, Yeo put pen-to-paper on a deal with Peterborough before scoring the only goal in Tuesday's 1-0 pre-season friendly win over local rivals Northampton Town.
Yeo was pleased to finally complete his move and be reunited with Alexander.
"I am delighted everything has been completed," Yeo told the club's official website.
"Lincoln put a deal to me and it was no good for me because it was a pay-cut and Keith spoke to me and invited me down to have a look around.
"Everything I saw and heard persuaded me to join. There was not a doubt in my mind - I knew where I wanted to be.
"Peterborough is a far bigger club than Lincoln and they have a great set-up here."
