MK Dons begin their first ever season in the Sky Bet Championship with a trip to Rotherham United on Saturday August 8th.

Karl Robinson’s side were promoted from League One in May after finishing second behind Bristol City – but the two sides have to wait until October for their first meeting in the Championship, at Ashton Gate.

After their opening day clash with the Millers, the MK Dons - one of the Football League’s newest clubs - play two of the oldest with successive home games against Preston and Bolton.

MK Dons celebrate Christmas with a Boxing Day home game against Cardiff City – with a trip to Birmingham two days later.

And they finish their inaugural Championship season with a home game against one of the pre-season promotion favourites, Nottingham Forest.
