Will Grigg scooped Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season at Walsall's end-of-year awards dinner.

The Northern Ireland international striker became the first Saddlers player to bag 20 goals in a campaign in 12 years as the midlands club narrowly missed out on a play-off place in League One. Grigg's efforts were enough to seal the Player of the Season award ahead of second-placed Adam Chambers and skipper Andy Butler in third. Winger Jamie Paterson, 21, won Young Player of the Year for the second season in succession having started all 46 of the club's league games, scoring an impressive 12 goals in the process.
