MK Dons boss Karl Robinson insisted he was more than happy to show his emotions after Stephen Gleeson's late winner against leaders Tranmere.

The victory fired Robinson's side into second place in League One. The Dons wasted a number of early opportunities but Robinson's frustration turned to celebration as Gleeson struck with three minutes left. "Yeah, there was passion in my celebration," admitted Robinson. "I was disappointed because I thought we should have been a little more comfortable, so obviously when you start missing chances, the frustrations start to boil over. "We've come to a team who are top of the league and got a 1-0 victory. We beat Sheffield United at home last Saturday and obviously we had the FA Cup on Tuesday, so we've had an awful lot of games in a short period of time, so I'm so proud of them all. "I'm always proud of the players - it's the type of person I am. All the players were exceptional. "We've had a statement all season and we felt if we keep playing our football, results will then follow. We have got passion and belief and I think I showed that on the touchline, and the players showed that on the pitch."
