Milton Keynes Dons have signed Antony Kay on a two-year deal ahead of the new League One season.
The midfielder had been released by Huddersfield after helping the Terriers to promotion last season.
Kay becomes the Dons' fourth summer signing after Jon Otsemobor, Alan Smith and Ryan Lowe.
The 29-year-old believes he can achieve a second successive promotion with his new employers.
"This is a great club with some great players and they have made some quality signings," he told the club's official website. "They've been in the play-offs nearly every year I can remember so hopefully we can go one step further this time and get promoted.
"I think it helps having a bit of experience and knowledge of how to get promoted so hopefully I can bring that to the club and the players and help us get up."
