MK Dons boss Karl Robinson was delighted with the 3-0 win over Tranmere which saw them strengthen their grip on fifth place.
Two Shaun Williams penalties, either side of Stephen Gleeson's strike, did the damage while Rovers' Jake Cassidy missed from the spot.
Robinson said: "That was a fantastic performance.
"Shaun showed tremendous class in the way he put the penalties away. I find it hard to watch our penalties now, because we've missed so many.
"Strong-minded people I like - I like people who challenge me and challenge themselves, and he certainly does that.
"He pushed Stephen Gleeson all the way for man-of-the-match in my mind."
