Crawley stars attracting interest

Steve Evans has revealed some Crawley players have been the subject of interest with the January transfer window approaching.

Kyle McFadzean, Matt Tubbs and Tyrone Barnett are just three of the Red Devils squad members who have been linked with moves away from the Broadfield Stadium early in the new year. Centre-back McFadzean, 24, has been suggested as a potential Bolton target. And Town boss Evans concedes his table-topping side are attracting plenty of suitors. He told the club's official website: "There has been significant interest in a few of our players but, given their talent and how they are playing at present, I suppose it is to be expected. "A number of good managers have been on the phone this last week in connection with the purchase of certain players here at Crawley Town but that stated interest will, as requested by them, remain confidential. "Yes, we have received offers, but as yet none of them have met the directors' value - long may that continue is what I think."
