Skysports.com understands Dagenham have rejected bids from Peterborough and Charlton for Danny Green.

Posh and Charlton rebuffed in offers for midfielder

Skysports.com understands Dagenham & Redbridge have rejected bids from Peterborough and Charlton for Danny Green. Green is attracting the interest of a host of clubs following Dagenham's relegation to League Two. The 22-year-old was one of the best performers in League One last season, netting 13 goals from midfield. Championship new boys Peterborough have held a long-term interest in the former Bishop's Stortford man and they had a bid for the player turned down earlier this month. Posh came back with a second offer which has also been rejected by Dagenham. Charlton have also seen their bid for Green rejected with Addicks boss Chris Powell keen to land the attacking midfielder. Sheffield Wednesday have also shown an interest in Green, but it remains to be seen if Peterborough or Charlton come back with new offers.
