Dagenham have signed winger Danny Green on a three-year deal from non-league Billericay Town.
The Daggers are currently pushing for a place in the League Two play-offs and manager John Still has acted quickly to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.
But the new signing could cause some confusion among the Daggers faithful as there is already a winger by the name of Danny Green in their squad.
Still said: "My scouts have watched him and I've watched him and we all liked what we've seen.
"He's young and hungry and I feel he's one of a long line of players that we can develop. He's an exciting prospect.
"However, the shirt names and stats might cause confusion."
