Norwich have confirmed that Luke Chadwick has returned from his loan spell at Milton Keynes Dons due to injury.
The midfielder has picked up a knee ligament problem and has gone back to Carrow Road in order to begin his recovery.
It is expected that Chadwick, 28, will be sidelined for between eight to ten weeks, much to the frustration of Canaries boss Glenn Roeder.
"It's really bad luck for Luke, obviously we wish him the speediest of recoveries," Roeder told Norwich's official website.
Chadwick's loan spell with the League One Dons is due to expire at the end of December.
