Milton Keynes Dons have confirmed on-loan winger Luke Chadwick faces a lengthy spell out with a knee injury.
Chadwick has been on loan at stadium:mk from Norwich City since early October and is due to stay until the end of the year.
However, the former Manchester United youngster picked up a knee problem in training last week and missed Saturday's 3-1 win at Hartlepool United.
MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed Chadwick has returned to Carrow Road for treatment and expects the player to be out for some time.
"Unfortunately, Luke picked up an injury in training on Thursday and he's going to be out for a while," Di Matteo told the club's official website.
"He's gone back to Norwich to start his rehab, but it's too early to put a timescale on how long he will be out."
Since joining MK Dons, Chadwick has scored three goals in seven League One appearances, including a match-winning brace at Leyton Orient last month.
