Peterborough have completed the signings of Craig Morgan and Aaron McLean

Morgan has made six appearances for Posh since moving to London Road on loan from Milton Keynes Dons in November.

He is regarded as a consistent and versatile defender, and Peterborough boss Keith Alexander has had no hesitation in granting him a two-and-a-half year deal.

"Craig is a player that has proven in his short time here that he is going to be better than what we have already and that is what we are trying to achieve," Alexander told the club's official website.

"He is an important player for us."

McLean, meanwhile, has put pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal, with Peterborough agreeing a fee of £150,000 with non-league side Grays Athletic.

The striker regularly partnered Danny Crow up front during his two-month loan spell and scored five goals.
