The former Blackburn Rovers man has been plying his trade in the Welsh Premier League and local reports claim he has been offered the opportunity to impress Dons boss Danny Wilson.
Abdillahi is currently with Cardiff Grange Quins but would welcome the chance to step back up the footballing ladder.
The 19-year-old is an Under-17 international for Wales, despite being born in Somalia.
