Milton Keynes Dons and Wrexham have agreed a fee for defender Craig Morgan.

The 19-year-old was out of contract at The Racecourse Ground and agreed terms with MK Dons last month.

The transfer was heading for a tribunal until the two clubs agreed a deal over the weekend.

It is believed the fee is just short of £100,000 for the highly-rated Welshman.

Morgan will now be unveiled by MK Dons as Danny Wilson's latest signing after penning a two-year deal.

A number of clubs were chasing Morgan, but the Buckinghamshire outfit won the day and the player's agent Lee Payne admits their desire won the day.

"They [MK Dons] were first out of the traps and showed a huge commitment to get Craig," Payne told skysports.com.

"It is a terrific setup down there and Craig was made to feel very welcome by everyone at the club.

"That is why he chose to go there rather than some other places and he is delighted to have joined such an ambitious club."
