MK Dons release five

Milton Keynes Dons have confirmed the release of five players ahead of next season.

Milton Keynes Dons have confirmed the release of five players ahead of next season.

Senior players Allan Smart, Mark Williams (pictured) and Jamie Mackie have all been released.

Reserve teamers Ryan Jerwood and Luke Wildy have also been freed by manager Danny Wilson.

Wilson has also decided to transfer list Scott Bevan and Harry Ntimban-Zeh.

One player that could find himself at The National Hockey Stadium next season is Wrexham defender Craig Morgan.

The Wales Under-21 international, who has received a call-up to John Toshack's senior Wales squad for this month, looks set to leave the cash-strapped club in the summer.

Morgan, who was linked with Premiership strugglers Crystal Palace and Southampton back in March, is reportedly interesting Wilson.

A move to the Buckinghamshire borough may attracted Morgan following MK Dons' last-day survival in League One.
