Branco facing FA charge

Swindon defender Raphael Rossi Branco has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.

The incident with Aden Flint at a set-piece occurred in the sixth minute of Tuesday's 3-0 loss at Bristol City and was not seen by the match officials but seen by the viewing public live on television. Branco has until 6pm on Friday April 10 to respond to the charge. The Brazilian is already set for a spell on the sidelines, having to serve a two-game ban for picking up 10 yellow cards over the season and looks set be handed a lengthier punishment if he accepts the charge.
