Robins ovation touches McEveley

Jay McEveley admits his standing ovation on his final Swindon appearance was 'special'.

The former Blackburn full-back, who is now a free agent, was taken off in the dying minutes of his 78th game for the Robins and was taken aback by the response of their supporters. "It was special. I didn't know I was seen in that light, to be honest." he told the Swindon Advertiser. "I just go about my business and give everything on the pitch. "If I have a good game or a bad game or a six out of 10 game I'm always giving 110 per cent. Maybe they've seen that and I like that in them. "Looking at this season I think my form's been more than a six out of 10, to be honest. "It's been a great season and I've enjoyed every minute."
