Di Canio: Hit with ban

Sky Bet

Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio has received a two-match touchline ban from the Football Association.

The Italian was sent to the stands during the Robins' 1-0 victory over Macclesfield last month and was hit with a charge of improper conduct by the FA.

Di Canio subsequently defended himself vociferously but his appeal against the charge has since been rejected and he will be forced to watch the upcoming npower League Two clashes with Crawley and Hereford away from the dugout.
