Swindon are targeting "four or five" strikers on loan deals after missing out on Clinton Morrison, according to manager Paolo Di Canio.
Sheffield Wednesday forward Morrison rejected a temporary stint in Wiltshire this week despite the two clubs agreeing the details on a loan arrangement.
But Di Canio revealed the former Ireland international was just one of several players the Robins are eyeing at present.
"We are looking at four or five players, of which Morrison was one. They are different heights, different sizes, different players," said Di Canio.
"First, we want to know if they want to come to Swindon. Then if they say yes, we'll see."
