Belford so happy with Shakers

Cameron Belford believes his part in Bury's promotion to League One is just reward for his own hard work and patience.

Goalkeeper Belford, 22, arrived at Gigg Lane from Coventry four years ago and has gradually established himself as the Shakers' first-choice stopper. He said: "After that first season here, I never thought that in a few years time I'd be picking up a runners-up medal and having an open-top bus tour. "When I came here, the club had not been challenging but once Alan Knill came in everything changed. "We've been close for the last two years and we've finally done it, it's unbelievable."
