Rochdale striker Rickie Lambert has played down speculation concerning a move to Swindon Town this summer.
The 22-year-old netted 22 times last term and was rumoured to be a target for the newly relegated Robins.
However, Lambert says he has not been in contact with officials from The County Ground but did reveal that he was looking to extend his current contract with Dale.
"I heard about the Swindon thing after returning from my holiday in the Dominican Republic, I was asked by some of the lads if it was true and it's not," Lambert told the club's official website.
"I haven't heard from anyone at Swindon Town or any other club for that matter. I am a Rochdale player and I will be next season and hopefully a bit longer than that.
"[Rochdale manager] Steve Parkin wants me to talk about extending my current deal which I'm more than happy to do. I've agreed to speak to the gaffer when we start back at the end of June, I'm hopeful we can sort something out."
