Chester City have signed defender Andy Nicholas and wing back Carl Regan.
Chester City have boosted their ranks with the signings of defender Andy Nicholas and wing back Carl Regan.Both players joined the League Two strugglers on trial this week and have done enough to impress Blues boss Ian Rush.
Nicholas joins the Saunders Honda Stadium club on loan from League One outfit Swindon Town while Regan (pictured) makes a return to The Football League with Chester after spells at Everton, Barnsley and Hull City.
The pair will be available for Saturday's home match with Notts County, as Chester look to pull away from the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Chester midfielder Andy Harris has extended his loan with Conference club Forest Green Rovers until April 20 while temperamental striker Cortez Belle has joined Newport County on loan until the season's end.
