SWINDON TOWN striker Sam Parkin notched his second hat-trick of the season against Notts County at the weekend and then revealed he hopes to stay with Andy King's side for many more years to come.

Despite being in a struggling Division Two side, Parkin, 22, has fired in 24 goals this term and hopes to continue to score goals for the County Ground side.

Parkin said: "Swindon gave me a two-year deal when there wasn't much on offer last summer. I'll always appreciate that.

"Junior Lewis has just joined us on loan from Leicester and he's confirmed what I think - people still regard us as a big club.

The West Country side boss said of his star man:  "Parkin is Premiership class and Premiership clubs are showing an interest."
