Forward Ashley Grimes has left Bury by mutual consent, the club has announced.
The 27-year-old played 18 times for the Sky Bet League Two club in 2013/14 and leaves just a year after arriving at the JD Stadium. Grimes has over 150 professional appearances to his name and has previously played for Rochdale, Lincoln, Millwall, Swindon and Manchester City, where he came through the youth system. Bury said in a statement on their website: "The club would like to pass on our thanks and appreciation to Ashley for his service to the Shakers."
