Walsall manager Dean Smith was delighted to get back to winnings ways as his side beat Bradford 2-0.
The Saddlers' 10-game winless streak came to an end at Valley Parade thanks to Craig Westcarr's brace, keeping them in the hunt for the play-off places after Peterborough and MK Dons lost. Smith said: "It seems a long time since we last won, but this was a deserved victory. "We played some good stuff. It was a good performance, we kept the ball really well and frustrated Bradford, restricting them to very few chances. "We defended really well and I was pleased to keep a clean sheet. "It was a really good performance from Craig Westcarr. Hopefully there will be some more goals from him in the next few weeks."
