Sky Sports understands a host of clubs are monitoring the contract situation of Walsall's highly-rated striker Will Grigg.
The 19-goal front-man's current deal expires this summer, but as yet a new deal is not in place for Grigg, whose recent international duty with Northern Ireland was cut short due to a hamstring injury.
Scouts from the Premier League and Championship are understood to be tracking the prolific forward, with Southampton and Norwich City believed to have been amongst the clubs to have watched Grigg grab a last-gasp equaliser against Crawley recently.
The high-flying Saddlers are keen to keep hold of Grigg and the player's agent, Dan Wood of The Endgame Group, insists the player is happy at the Midlands club.
"It is understandable that Will has caught the eye with his performances this season, but all he is focusing on is playing well for Walsall, and continuing the club's push for promotion," Wood told Sky Sports.
"We are having discussions with Walsall, and those talks will continue."
Grigg is currently recovering from his hamstring injury and is the club's top scorer this season - with eight goals in his last six games, including a hat-trick against Carlisle United.
