Walsall manager Dean Smith was disappointed having seen his side throw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Brentford.
The hosts had looked safe with their lead and only four minutes left, but the Bees stung them with late goals from Jonathan Douglas and the dangerous Clayton Donaldson.
"I'm disappointed that we let a two-goal lead slip, but we played some excellent football in the first half," Smith said. "But fair play to Brentford, they put us under a lot of pressure and put a lot of balls into the box.
"I think their first goal put their tails up, but there was a foul on David Grof. If he had caught the ball instead of punching it, the foul would have been given.
"Brentford's two front men are big lads but I felt we dealt with them really well.
"We are a young team and maybe that played a part. We missed the experience of Adam Chambers (injured) in midfield."
