Butler urges Saddlers focus

Walsall captain Andy Butler has urged his troops to maintain their focus as they look to secure survival in League One for next season.

The Saddlers sit four points clear of the relegation zone with four games left to play, with fellow strugglers Wycombe and Leyton Orient crashing to heavy defeats at Chesterfield and Exeter respectively. The West Midlands outfit are now favourites to avoid the drop, and Butler believes that victory over Tranmere at the weekend will cement their place in the division. He said: "It would be nice to get it done quickly, rather than wait until the last game of the season like last year. We'll hopefully get a result on Saturday and that will keep us where we deserve to be. "We're not comfortable yet, we know that, but I'm sure if we get a result on Saturday - which we'll go all out to do - then we'll be safe. "Wycombe would have to win three games to go above us - and our goal difference is an extra point so I think it would be alright. We were one point ahead of Wycombe and now it's four points so it's been a good Easter."
