Macclesfield have extended the loan deal for Sheffield Wednesaday goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has impressed during his six appearances with the League Two club and has suffered just one defeat in his time at Moss Rose. O'Donnell is happy to extend his deal and says he just wants to play football after intermittent appearances at Hillsborough this campaign. "I've gone to Macclesfield and feel as though I've done pretty well," he told Wednesday's official website. "I don't think I am doing myself any harm going out and playing games." "I've done this before, going out on loan, so it's nothing new. As a goalkeeper, whatever game you're playing in, you're going to have the same things to do."
