Walsall captain Andy Butler has praised 'brilliant' manager Dean Smith for ending an autumn League One slump.
Last weekend's 1-0 victory over Preston was the Saddlers' first in nine and gives the side renewed confidence going into Saturday's clash with Tranmere. "The gaffer has been brilliant throughout really," he told the Express & Star. "He didn't really change or get panicky about anything. He's been brilliant with the players.
