Taundry happy to play anywhere

Richard Taundry does not mind where he plays in Walsall's starting XI as long as his name's on the team sheet.

A midfielder by trade, the 22-year-old has found himself at right-back in recent weeks ahead of Darryl Westlake. It is a position not too unfamiliar to Taundry, having played there during his younger days, but he insists he is happy to play anywhere. "It's great to be back in the team and to be playing my part," he told the club's official website. "I don't mind where I play as long as I'm in the team and all I can do is my best." The Saddlers lost 3-1 against Brighton last weekend, and Taundry added: "We've got four games now to bounce back. We've got Sheffield Wednesday at home on Saturday so hopefully we'll get something then. We're not really looking at who we're playing, though. It's just a case of going out there and getting the three points."
