Adam Chambers' injury jinx has struck again after the midfielder was ruled out of Saturday's trip to Bournemouth.
Chambers has spent lengthy spells in the treatment room this season following surgery on both calves and a hamstring problem. The 30-year-old made his first start since November in Tuesday night's goalless draw against Brighton, but lasted just five minutes before picking up a shin injury. "It was a nasty injury and he needed about 25 stitches," said manager Russell Slade. "He's so unlucky at the minute and we hope he has a speedy recovery."
