Ex-Baggies and Hornets man joins Doncaster

Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has completed the signing of Leicester City's James Chambers for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the newly-promoted Championship outfit following just one season with the Foxes. Despite a delay in joining the Keepmoat Stadium outfit the ex-Watford full-back is delighted he has finally joined O'Driscoll's squad.

Drawn out

"It's been drawn out a little bit," he told the club's official website. "I was hoping that something could have been sorted towards the end of last week. "I saw a few games last season and I've heard a few things about how well Doncaster played last year from a few people, especially in terms of how they play football. I'm glad to be a part of it. "It was an easy decision to make and being an ex-player of Richard O'Kelly, who had me in the youth team at West Brom, it was even easier."
