WALSALL duo Jorge Leitao and Mark Wright have signed new two-year deals at The Bescot Stadium.
Saddlers boss Colin Lee had made a new deal for strike ace Leitao his top objective and he is delighted to have secured the future of the Portuguese star.
Leitao has established himself as one of the side's key players netting 10 goals this season and helping them to avoid relegation to the Second Division.
"I am very pleased that we have been able to agree a new deal with Jorge," Lee told the club's official website.
"I rate him very highly and am pleased to see that he is in the process of buying property in the area, which proves his commitment to the club and should act to settle him.
"Hopefully this will help in his performances next term and he will find himself regularly among the goals."
Midfield man Wright has still to establish himself at The Bescot and spent most of last season on loan at Conference outfit Nuneaton, but Lee is a big fan of the 20-year-old.
"I have seen enough of Mark to know that he is a player who has the ability to have a big future in the game," said Lee.
"I am glad that he has signed a new contract and I will be looking for him to develop quickly into a first-team player and be pushing for a place in the side in the not too distant future."
