Striker set on Shrews start

Shrewsbury striker Marvin Morgan hopes his goal at the weekend is enough to earn him a recall to the starting line-up.

The 28-year-old netted the equaliser as 10-men Shrews drew 1-1 with Aldershot on Saturday. Morgan hasn't started since the surprise 1-0 defeat against Plymouth earlier this month, but hopes to have persuaded manager Graham Turner that he can start over the Easter weekend and help fire the club into League One. "I was happy to get my 11th goal of the season, but it's up to the gaffer (whether I start)," he told BBC Radio Shropshire. "I'm enjoying my football though, and whether I play or not it's all about winning promotion. "It's in our hands, but I still think it'll go down to the last game of the season."
