Cooper smiling after big win

Manager Neale Cooper has hailed Hartlepool's display as "fantastic" after seeing them coast to a 4-0 victory over Carlisle.

Pools thumped Carlisle at Victoria Park to extend their unbeaten run to four matches in League One, with teenage striker Luke James stealing the show with two goals, while Antony Sweeney and Colin Nish were also on the scoresheet against the Cumbrians, who had Lee Miller sent off for a lunge on Andy Monkhouse. Cooper said: "It was fantastic and we've had a really good week, working hard on the training ground. I felt we came into this on the back of two good away draws and we were confident. "We started well, went two-up and the support play by the midfielders and attackers was fantastic. "They had a man sent-off and we lost our way a wee bit and the only time they were a threat was when we gave them the ball. "Miller was sent-off and before then we played some really good stuff. Second-half we started slack and relaxed a bit, but got back with some top-quality football."
