No ref justice for Wadsworth

Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth was unhappy with the two red cards shown by referee Paul Tierney in the 1-1 draw with Walsall.

The official dismissed Pools' Nathan Luscombe and Saddlers skipper Andy Butler after both went in for a loose ball three minutes before half-time in Saturday's League One clash at Victoria Park. Wadsworth said: "No-one goes in with two feet, Nath is on the ground, their guy tumbles over him. "Common sense surely, two guys tackling, two yellow cards. It's difficult and I have to be careful what I say, but it's a poor decision." Jon Macken put Walsall ahead from the penalty spot but Colin Nish levelled for Pools.
