Flinders looking for loan move

Crystal Palace defender Mark Hudson is hoping to sign a new contract with the club. The 25-year-old has been a key player for Palace this season and expects to renew his current deal before it expires in the summer. "Neil (Warnock) has mentioned a new contract so hopefully we can sort something out," Hudson told the Croydon Guardian. "I want to stay at the club - everything is going really well for me at the moment." Goalkeeper Scott Flinders is looking to secure a loan move in order to gain some first-team experience. He was given a chance to start ahead of regular keeper Julian Speroni in the FA Cup defeat to Watford on Saturday, but accepts that he will have few opportunities in the Championship. He told Your Local Guardian: "It looks as if I won't be getting a game in the league because Jules is doing really well so it would have been nice to have a cup run but obviously it's been cut short. "I'm hoping something can get sorted in the next couple of days where I can speak to the manager and try and get out somewhere on loan. "I want to be playing games until the end of the season."
