Swindon's new loan signing Sam Collins has revealed he is ready for the challenge of playing for the club and has already settled in well.
The 30-year-old is on a one-month loan deal from Championship side Hull and is hoping to help the Robins build on a decent start to the season.
"I came down last night and I'm glad to be here now," he said on the club's official website. "I have been training since the start of July and feel nice and fit.
Familiar"I know a few of the lads already, which helps. I spent some time with Jamie Vincent at Huddersfield Town and have known Billy (Paynter) for years.
"He's a good lad and has had a good start to his Swindon career. He got a hat-trick last weekend and he needs to be playing regular games - I am sure he will go on and do well."
Swindon travel to Millwall on Saturday and Collins will be available for selection for that game.
He added: "I'm sure the lads will want to carry on from where they left off against Bournemouth last weekend and hopefully we can go there and get three points."
