Wrexham have raided League Two rivals Hartlepool to sign Michael Proctor.
The former Sunderland man makes the move to Wrexham after a proposed switch to Boston fell through.
Proctor has struggled to break into the Hartlepool side this season due to injury and Pools director of football Chris Turner believes the move to Wrexham will help the 26-year-old.
"I think this suits both parties really," Turner told the club's official website. "Wrexham need a striker and Michael needs games, so this loan move is ideal.
"The manager has allowed him to go out on loan to prove his worth."
