Nottingham Forest's Jamie Mackie will be on Thursday's FL72-Preview to dissect the Championship promotion race.
The Scotland international and his City Ground team-mates sit in fourth spot in the second tier after going half a dozen games unbeaten, a run that has included wins over local rivals Derby and Oscar Garcia's Brighton.
Mackie's former club QPR, who have conceded just two goals all season, are riding high in second, but Burnley - level on points with Rangers but with a better goal difference - are top, down largely to the net-rippling antics of Danny Ings and Sam Vokes.
The 28-year-old will tell Simon Thomas how confident he is of making the Premier League with Forest and which other clubs he expects to challenge them at the summit of the division when he drops into the FL72 canteen.
But with a host of rip-roaring matches set to take place this weekend in all three strands of the Football League, Mackie will not be short of talking points...
CHAMPIONSHIP - Jamie will preview some of the big games in his league, where Forest host Bournemouth, QPR trek to Millwall, Burnley visit Ipswich and basement boys Barnsley welcome Middlesbrough to Oakwell
LEAGUE ONE - Mackie used to turn out for MK Dons so should assess the side's current state, their Saturday clash with Rotherham and their highly-rated manager Karl Robinson, as well as the other standout matches across the weekend
LEAGUE TWO - Jamie also has a spell at Plymouth on his CV, making 98 league appearances for the Pilgrims between 2008-2010, so should have many thoughts on what the Home Park outfit, 11th ahead of their fixture with upwardly mobile Hartlepool, can achieve this term
